Originally built for the ALPO pet food company, this distinctive bright red spherical tank is highly visible to travelers driving along the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension (I-476). The facility has been a manufacturing hub in the area since 1936, producing prominent pet food brands like Friskies, Alpo, and Beneful.
